I have been using the PrecisionTemp unit for months now. It works great! My
wife and I take back to back showers for as long as we like. The approach I
took, as I've posted before, was to leave my regular heater installed. I
have the Precision Temp in a box that sits outside, with its own 5gal
Propane bottle. I hook the DC input to a receptacle I installed in the
regular hot water bay. I love this thing. I can give you full details on the
install if you want. The unit is made to replace a 10gal regular heater, so
you have to cut to put it in a 6gal hole. This is one reason why I made its
own box. Also, with this arrangement, it is completely portable. Whereever
you have a hose you have hot water.
