Hunter, I had the same thing happen to me in Ca. I used a white hose 
which I purchased from Camping World. We also have a water purifer on 
the faucet. But after a couple of months of the hose sitting in the 
hot sun and resting on the blacktop in the rv park we had mold growing 
in oue hose. I soaked the hose in a tub of bleach water to kill the 
mold but the water had a bleach taste from then on. I replased the 
hose and ran my water through the faucets and tub for about an hour to 
make sure I didn't have that crud in my lines.
