  I have 40# aluminum tanks on my airstream and I had the valves 
replaced for less than $25.00 each. Those aluminum tanks , I was told 
cost about $200.00 each. You sure don't want to get rid of those. 
Where ever you get propane can replace the valves and will let you 
know if they aren't any good. I doubt very much that there is 
anything 
wrong with them. Richard , freezin' in Ohio and waitin' for warm 
weather.
