[A/S] Re:Sleeping Arrangements
I used another option which does not actually remove the twins. I have a
1976 31 '. As I am 6'4" I chose to fit a piece of plywood between the twins
using the aluminum edging to go in a grove in the plywood. Then I used some
foam wrapped in material to fit on top of the plywood and between the twin
mattresses. By then overlaying (side to side) one of those egg crae type
mattress pads I wound up with a king/king bed.
I sleep side to side, have more than enough room. The only disadvantages
are you cannot easily access inside the night table door or the drawers
under the twins. But I can easily take the mattress cover, mattress and
plywood off to get to them. i just have to then remake the bed.
