If you live near an Airstream dealer (with a bone yard), you may be able to
make a deal and swap what you have for what you want. The dealer in Jackson,
Mississippi has done that for me in the past.

It may take a couple dozen calls (on their 800 numbers) to find a dealer who
has "a few old relics with salvageable parts." The best way is to actually
go to their lot and look for yourself.

There are old Airstreams on non-Airstream dealer lots. It takes a bit of leg
work and a lot of time to find them. Who knows, you might be ready to buy
your own silver mobile parts supply shed and park it in your back yard (or
barn).
