I use the bottom floor of the freezer compartment. 
Since the refrigerator is the reason for seeking
level, I consider this as the point.  

I don't use any of the exterior cabinetry since no one
cares about the level here.  I did my initial level
with the tongue then did the fine tuning in the
freezer compartment.  Once level I mounted my Tamarak
bubble level outside.
