  Go to Radio Shack and get a silicon diode that's rated for 1 amp or 
more. (I doubt that panel will put out more than that)

Solder it in series with one of the leads from the panel. If you connect 
it to the positive lead ("+"), hook it up so the 'arrow' on the diode 
points towards the computer.
