Sally's idea would work fine.  Motorhomes use video cameras as backup
assists quite often.  There's nothing to keep you from setting it up for a
trailer.  Just have to figure out the connecting plug.

Jim Whitworth:  I have the same "blind spot" with my F-250, but have the
backup alarm that beeps when I get close to an obstacle.  That really helps.
It even beeps when a person passes behind the truck, if  I'm in reverse.
It was a factory option, and would be worth looking into.
I also use it to help me position the truck when hitching up, since I
figured out what the tone should be when I'm in the right place.
