I am hooked up to a Direct TV Sat. I had it put up back in June 2001. I am
well pleased with the connections. Where I live, in the Third World of West
Virginia, a local ISP does good to get 28K.

I just checked my speed and it is around 350K. Most of the day it runs up to
800K and faster but it gets crowded at night and really slows down.

I paid around $700 for the sat. and install. The service is $69.00 a month.
You leave it on all the time as there no phone lines.
If you see PGTV.NET that is the DirectTV service from Hughes for the
internet sat. system I use.

If anyone is ever considering the system and wants to ask questions, just
ask.
