Jan,

Knowing about rallies comes with membership in WBCCI and red numbers on your
Airstream. We receive the Blue Beret monthly magazine which lists all
Airstream rallies throughout the USA. That's how we keep track of them. For
us, this information enables us to keep in touch with other Airstreamers no
matter where we are on the continent.  We like "rally hopping" and enjoy
meeting other Airstreamers.

 Whenever we want to attend a rally, we call the WagonMaster and ask if
there is room for another Airstream. Invariably, the answer is, "Yes," so we
sign up for everything and send our check (or bring it to him when we arrive
at the rally). This is our small way of staying involved while traveling.

Knowing about campgrounds that were created by Airstreamers is merely a
matter of buying the book by Tedra. I gave my book away, but I'm sure
details for buying the book are in the archives (or someone with the book on
the shelf in their den will chime in).  There are only about 30 of them and
after visiting them once, we remember where they are - whenever we're in the
vicinity. 

Tomorrow, we begin rolling again. Although we pick up email daily while
traveling, sometimes there's a snag and we miss a day.
