Terry,
I didn't see an answer so I'll butt in here. I believe that just about any 
linoleum or linoleum tiles had asbestos if made thru the 60's (possibly the 
70's) Just about any older school and many older office bldgs have asbestos 
in the flooring. The sad thing is that there is no real problem with such a 
floor (if kept waxed) until they start an asbestos abatement and rip it up.

In an A/S I think I would just lay the new flooring over the old tiles (if 
possible).
