Re: [A/S] Zolatone application and/or hardwood floors

You might consider PERGO for the floor. It goes in easy, looks
nice. I've been told that it is "noisy", i.e. hard soled shoes
make noise on it, but the rubber or vinyl soles I usually wear
don't cause a problem.
PERGO is available at Home Depot and elsewhere. No doubt they can
supply lots of advice along with the products.
We painted the interior of our '62 Land Yacht after a thorough
cleaning (including TSP). The walls and ceiling were "sticky"
with years of accumulated crud when we bought the unit. The paint
we used was washable satin enamel and it held up very well.
