An alternative beyond the typical hitch locks are tire locks.  Visit web 
site 
www.tirelock.com.  This has information about the "Pit Bull" tire lock, a 
caliper type lock for your wheel.  I have a polished 16ft Bubble and 
these small trailers are attractive to
thieves and not difficult to steal. The wheel lock seemed a reasonable 
insurance investment at around $400.00
