We replaced our old 1970 model with a new unit.  It was the larger BTU
size unit.   Now it will run for about 5 min and turn off and blow
cold air only.
I think the air flow is not enough for the higher BTU rating.  This
was installed by Camping World  but nobody thought of the air
flow at time of replacement.
I must now pull it out and cut in new air ducts for both inlet and
outlets..
