  I'd try either capacitors across the offending motors or those inline 
filters that are available. Most of those incorporate a capacitor and an 
inductor, so should be a bit better. You might want to install the same 
kind of filter on the 12-volt feed to the radio also.

When the gear mechanism went bad in our TV antenna crank-up mechanism, I 
replaced the whole thing with a WineGard 'batwing' antenna, as used on 
nearly all of today's RVs. It has an amplifier that has 2 outputs; I 
feed the radio with one, and it works well.
