I'm going to try to install the Precision Temp
heater. It gives continuous and unlimited hot
water. Airstream actually offered them as an
option in 96-97, but the product wasn't ready
for prime time then. The new heater will fit a
hole for a 10 gal, so I have to increase the
vertical dimension about 2.5 inches. There
apparently is a box that the current heater sits
on to support the tank. Since the new heater has
no tank (weight of my heater full is 110lbs, weight
of new heater 27 lbs) the box can be removed, but
the outside has to be cut. Precision Temp makes a
new door for the A/S.

I'm replacing the flourescents above the kitchen
sink and the bathroom ceiling with round brass
reading lights. We don't like the flourescent
light.
