Re: [A/S] disaster, need lock
Patti,
I don't blame you one bit... Personally I prefer a couple of big black dogs...
There is false security in locks... If a person wants into your trailer,
locks will
not keep them out. My trailer has been broken into twice, once by the
individual
removing the Jalousy (?) window pane right beside the dead bolt door lock and
bending the screen inside so they could reach in and operate the locks from
the inside. The second time, was by ripping off the stone guard over the rear
window, breaking the window and climbing in. They destroyed the stone
guard frame by bending it out where the support arms attach (weakening the
frame).
Then just yanking the plastic out of it, and then breaking the window making
it simple to climb in.
Get a burglar alarm, either big black and hairy that barks, or an
electronic type.
Don't trust locks !!! locks are only for keeping honest people out.
