As Charlie noted, it is a 1961 Bambi made in California. The T and D 
indicate both a twin size and double sofabed in the layout. Serial 
number range for that year was 16 TSS 1600 to 16 TDSS 1847.

Question for you Clyde that will help decipher the Bambi sn's, what is 
the bed layout?
Streetside Double or Twin sofa-bed.
Front Double or Twin sofa-bed or a Dinette that makes up into a Double?
