I towed my 69 Overlander (27', 5500 lbs loaded) with a 1999 Yukon (GMC
Tahoe) for 3 years.  It was a good tow vehicle and I had no problems with
it.  It has a relatively short wheel base which can at times can detract
from the ride and handling. Prior to the Yukon, I towed with a full sized
van which was a surprisingly good tow vehicle. The lease was up on the
Yukon, so I replaced it with the Yukon XL (GMC Suburban) because it has a
longer wheel base. I have yet to tow with it.
