Hi all,
I just want to add that I make my own solar panels for around $35 a
panel.
They are 35"X25". 
 I just bought small surplus cells from eBay and other sources.
I matched the cells with a volt meter and soldered them together and
mounted them in a custom double-pane storm window that I had made for $15
at a glass shop.
If you do this be sure to put a blocking diode in the charge line so the
cells don't discharge your battery at night.
BP makes the same output panel as I make for around $300.
