The interior of mine was much the same as yours.....very brown. The previous owners were heavy smokers. RJ and Krista recommended I use Nature's Orange, which I found in the janitorial section at Home Depot. That did it. It's a very strong, citrus-based cleaner that dissolved that old gunk completely.
