[A/S] DC to AC inverter - 1500 Watt available

Hi All;

I was researching DC/AC inverters so that I could connect my laptop 
in my truck for use in a mapping situation with a gps.  In my 
travels, I found that a good friend of mine has a brand new never 
used 1500watt Statpower inverter that he would like to convert to 
money.  He would part with it for $650 CDN which would be about $410 
US, plus he would want shipping.  This seems to be a pretty good buy 
if anybody is looking for one.  A note to this is that the average 
automobile alternator won't run it.  The vehicle would have to have 
an optional larger alternator, probably a 130 amp.  I only need a 300 
so this was a bit much for me, but as I always say sometimes 8=) pass 
it on.  I think the movie was called 'Pay It Ahead'
