Jerry,
The panel is held in place by 3 or 4 rows of little "L" shaped plastic hooks,
running from top to bottom, molded into the back of the panel. The row on the
LEFT end of the panel points to the LEFT and all the others point to the RIGHT.
To remove the panel, slide it as far to the RIGHT as you can in the slop in the
mounting holes, then slide a dinner knife under the LEFT edge from top to
bottom. This will allow you to lift the LEFT edge "L" shaped hooks out of their
mounting holes, then slide the panel face as far to the LEFT as possible and it
will pull straight out of the mounting holes. You need to take care not to touch
any of the wires that are attached to the circuit board again the metal range
hood as you extend the panel away from the face of the hood. Now look at the top
edge of the readout units on the circuit board behind the holding tank readouts.
you will see a very small screw adjustment that sets the sensitivity of the
readouts. The holding tank readouts will be the only ones that have the
adjustment screws and are located directly behind each of their respective
readouts. I choose to run water into the the black water tank with the flusher
system built into my unit until the water was just about to make it to the
bottom of the toilet when I looked down through the toilet with the flush gate
held open with my foot. When it got as close as I wanted it to get, I shut off
the incoming water, and adjusted the screw on the readout until the "FULL" red
light just came on. Then drain the tank through the slinky and let it drain
well. The "empty " or bottom light on the read out should be the only one lit
after a couple of  minutes, if several of the squares are lit it means you over
adjusted the screw a little bit, and don't allow it to go all the way to empty.
i found one tank this summer that I never did get set to only show one block
when empty and the red "FILL" light come on just at the point the owner wanted.
He elected to have two blocks lit when empty and the red come on at exactly the
point he wanted to call his tanks full. The system works the same for both
tanks, except I used the shower drain as my full indicator for the gray tank.

I hope this is helpful for folks like myself that like for their toys to behave
the way they are designed to work.
