On the longer Airstreams besides not getting a jack under the frame
and rupturing the bottom skin, its possible to distort the frame and
buckle the side skin...  On a trailer as short as the Bambi, I am not sure
you can flex the frame enough to worry about buckling the side skins.

If you go to Tom Patterson's page or the VAC site and read the Airstream
factory recommended repair procedures for "Separation", they refer to using
a 4x4 across underneath the trailer to jack it up when not using the jack
pads behind the axle...
