Jim. There are conditions that are in between. When
it's cold outside, of course we run the furnace. Under
the right conditions, the windows can and will sweat,
as you learned. The fix is easy. You also run your
airconditioner, at the same time. That will remove the
moisture. It takes a little trial and error, to set
the AC temperature, so that it runs just enough to
keep the moisture down and out. It works!!   Max
