Hi Don,
I did a half hearted tap originally but the pin didn't
budge.  I could have hit it harder but I figured with
my luck I would end up flattening the pin and it would
then stay up.  Since its under warranty I figured that
maybe it could be fixed right the first time.....I'll
pursue this with the dealer in the spring when I have
the trailer there.  I think I'm going to anty up for
an awning on the street side of the trailer.  One that
is the size of the curbside awning is only about $200+
more than two small awnings which would cover the
windows only.  I was surprised the small ones cost so
much.
