I can't speak for your trailer, but I have that switch in mine and it's the 
"Converter Shut-off"

Does it look like a regular house light switch?  If so, it's not for your 
lights. (I don't think...my trailer is newer and that's the only house switch 
it has).

My ceiling light switch is next to the door, you can reach it when you are 
outside.
