[A/S] Thermostats et al

Thermostats usually fall into catagories.  The units are either
milivolts or 12/24 volts.  The thermostats are only a switch
controlled by temperature change.  All of the digital thermostats I
have installed in the last 5 years had a 9 volt battery as part of the
unit to operate the digital displays.  Any 12/24 volt units may be
interchanged.  Milivolt units cannot be used in place of the 12/24
volt units.  Mostly the features in a thermostat are determined by the
dollar cost of the units.  In most trailers, the thermostat only
controls the forced air furnace.  This is a simple 2 wire.... on or
off situation.  Go digital, the constant thermometer, and programmable
features are great.   Frank R
