I throughly agree.  Our 345 needed shocks and when I replaced them I 
was amazed at how much better it handled.  One bad shock will make it 
drive squirrely.  I also have replaced air bags and while it is a pain 
to do, It isn't expensive and really improves the ride.  I tried to 
order shocks from Airstream but they kept sending me the wrong ones, 
so I went to a front end place and got Monroe's.  They work fine.
