Hi, Many people have heat strips in their AC's and don't know it. 
Look at the controls that operate your AC. If you have one the 
controls will say heat or warm or something like that. Some AC's will 
have a sticker stuck on the interior case noting a heat strip. I have 
one in my Armstrong. Works great when you just want to take out a 
chill in the morning. A little noiser than the catylitic heater, but 
quick. Arnie
