[A/S] What I did today

I've just finished rewiring several tasks. I got some track lites at
Home Depot. Ya know the type that are actually 12 volts dc but have a
tiny small inverter in each lite. These lites can be swiveled and
moved about after mounting. They are halogen and can use 20-30 or 50
watt lamps. Yum yum. I have mounted 2 in the bath room where the old
lites were located. Here is the setup. While not connected to shore
power the right lite works off batteries. When hooked to shore power
the other lite works and the dc lite will work from converter power.
The kitchen sink just got a 3 ft single tube floresent over it. I
also made a 4 inch lite deflector to keep the lite from your eyes
while working at sink. My sweetheart wife loves my work. I may also
put a floresent over the large mirror in bath. An 1.8 KW inverter
will be part of our electrical system. All trailers and motor homes
with an converter should have a battery disconnect between the
converter and the batteries. To most of the RV repair world,
converters are know as battery killers. The converters just cook the
water out and keep on charging. A switch like a Perko will handle
lots of amps and save the battery. Our hide out will also have a
120vac water pump for any fire emergence and for a really good shower.
I like water and each town has more. I'm considering a hot water
loop. This loop is to circulate water from water heater to
sink/shower back to holding tank. This circulation saves lots of
water that would go down to holding tank. Ideas, yep we got a
few.... What are your ideas?? Frank R
