     I have a heavier Suburban, a '99 2500, and it came with load 
range E tires, which is what I've heard should be used.  I never 
heard of anyone suggesting LR C tires; but then, I have not heard of 
everything.  I'd guess you want at least LR D.  Check the loading 
ranges (at full inflation) and make sure you have enough tire to 
support your *loaded* suburban plus the tongue weight of the trailer, 
with a comfortable margin of overkill.
