Ebert,

I expected the limitations on the towing the larger the tow vehicle. 
That's why I was interested in the towing capacity of your rig. since it 
was shorter than those I was looking at, I've not been
able to get anyone who owns one ( the longer ones I was looking at ) 
give me any firm number as to towing capacity. My Excella is around 7500 
(sticker says 7100) or so, I was looking for something
that could tow around 8K.  I have some experience rebuilding 8.2 liter 
detroit's, these would work well in a MH, if the width of the engine 
doesn't become a problem.

Anyway, I'm not afraid of retro-fitting the powerplant/tranny/rear end 
of one of these for towing.
