Some years ago I replaced a broken A/S glass that had an
aluminum frame around it.  The Plexiglas is not dimensionally
stable with temperature changes.  I might guess about 1/8th
inch per foot is about what the stuff expands form installation
near 70 degrees to the heat in the summer in West Texas.

I have since used Lexan it cost a bit more but did not change
length and width too much in the heat of the summer.

Maybe someone knows the coefficient of expansion per
foot per degree when installed at some neutral temperaure.

My Lexan is still working for me and does not buckle as the
Plexiglas did.  the Lexan is not tight in a frame. I use it in
the upper and lower panels of the screen door so I don't
get claustrophobia.  Keeps the AC and Heat in during the
appropriate seasons.
