She had her Airstream painted a number of years ago.

Several months ago, we had a chance to look at it carefully while courtesy
parking at her place in California. It looks like an Airstream that has been
polished and clear coated. There was a glistening satin sheen to it.  Very
distinguished looking - like a rig that had been everywhere and could go
anywhere. 

A month or so later, we saw it again at the Hobo Rally in Blythe. Even after
traveling through a rain storm with road dirt all over it, her Airstream
still had that luxurious bearing about it.
