I'm looking at Suburbans and Excursions to replace my beautiful '94 LT1 5.7 
Buick Roadmaster Estate. Looking towards the future of getting a newer 34ft 
9000lb plus Airstream.
I get 20 hwy solo/9 towing with the buick.
may I ask those of you with the Excursion V-10, Suburban Turbo-Diesel and 
7.4L what you get for mileage? also, how they tow up hills etc.
I must say my 7200lb GVWR 1977 31ft Airstream zooms up hills with the Buick 
at 60mph! and with Hypertech Power Tuning and 160deg thermosat, the a/c is on 
and the car runs almost cool in the middle of the summer in New England
