This question comes up occasionally on both this and the vintage airstream
lists... i couldn't find the most recent corresponding message in my files,
but it appears that the 'sticky ceiling' phenomenon is the result of the
adhesive 'migrating' through the wall/ceiling covering. It makes sense that
it would occur on the ceiling (first) when the trailer's been stored outside
in summer heat. The 'Simple Green' or 'Mean Green' solutions will take care
of it until more adhesive 'sweats' through the vinyl covering. Avoid
cleaners that 'attack' vinyl, or you'll end up with a sticky mess that will
NEVER dry... don't ask me how i know this.
