If it was me, I'd avoid awning material that looks like or feels as though
one of the ingredients is plastic or a variation of plastic. I have one of
those awnings on our 22' Airstream. All it took was a good wind and the
awning material began to tear at the ends where most of the stress occurs.

As a result, I only use the awning  as a sun shade on a calm day. At the
first sign of a breeze, I roll it back up. Eventually, I will swap it out
for a ZipDee awning (probably at the factory when we're passing through).
