[A/S] temp trailer plates- watch out in Massachusetts

Be aware that Massachusetts does NOT honor any other state's 
"in-transit" tags, as a friend of mine found out at significant 
expense.   If you plan to take a vehicle or trailer through Mass the 
state Registry of Motor Vehicles REQUIRES you to contact them in 
advance and purchase the transit permit, no matter what kind or size 
vehicle it is.
It's an outrage, but there it is, so be forewarned.
