[A/S] travels with my cat

Thought i'd share an experience i had yesterday (Sunday), towing my newest
traveling rig (the Trailwind's still awaiting new frame and floor, and
interior, and shell repairs) from Reno, NV to Ojai, CA... the trip took a
bit longer than anticpated due to an incident arising from the fact that i
travel with a leash-trained cat (Dr. Katz)...

12:15pm - we're at the gas station at Boomtown, i stepped out of the car and
closed the door behind me... step over the trailer hitch to get to the pump,
when i heard the 'click' of the prowler's power door locks... i assumed that
i'd inadvertently hit the clicker on the keychain in my pocket, and reached
for my keys...

and then, simultaneously, i noticed three things... 1) i didn't have the
clicker in my pocket, 2) saw the keys and clicker in the ignition, and 3)
saw Dr.K standing on the passenger side armrest, paw firmly planted on the
doorlock switch, grinning at me through the window....

oh, and 4), my spare key was in my wallet, inside the locked car. 40 minutes
later, i'd managed to obtain a wire coathanger (NO WIRE HANGERS!) from a
young couple in an RV... the 20th people i'd asked... and managed to open
the car...

i swear that cat can 'chuckle'...
