Re: [A/S] Re: protecting screens from cats
As Hunter indicated, Airstream sells very nice extruded aluminum door screen
guards that are perfect fits for standard A/S screen doors at Jackson Center
or through their dealer network. The screen guards are standard equipment
on most newer Airstreams. They are not extremely expensive. I found a
like-new set for my '84 Excella at Colaw RV Salvage in SW MO. I removed
them from a badly wrecked 94 or later A/S and paid about $20 for the upper
and lower guard. Each is held in place by four tiny sheet metal screws
inserted into the screen door frame. A ten minute installation counting
getting out your tools.
