I am about to purchase my first Airstream trailer and have a couple of 
questions.  The trailer is a 1978 28 ft  Airstream with a white painted 
top.  Is is possible or even desirable to try and restore it to the 
silver finish?  Did the factory paint the top or was it added later?  
The pictures of the trailer show it in good condition and everything 
working.  The price is $6,000 which seems reasonable.  I would 
appreciate any coments?  Thanks!
