[A/S] 1965 Overlander table Question

I have the table that folds up against the wall, in front of the front sofa. 
It has a leaf which makes it extend. My question is, what tayp of bracket was 
used to hold the table in place, when it was folded down to keep it from 
swinging while you were traveling. Any help or suggestions would be 
appreciated.
