[A/S] Re: Patio Mats

Do any folks use those patio mats or rugs that go outside the RV under the 
awning?  Zip Dee makes one they claim will not kill the grass and keeps a lot 
of dirt and debris from being carried inside?  Pros and cons appreciated.

I use my A/S for dog showing, and I have several woven "poly" mats that I use 
under the awning.  I find they are a big help in keeping the dogs and the 
trailer clean, plus they sweep off easily with a small broom or can be hosed 
off.  Since they are woven, water runs right through, but I imagine if left 
in place long enough, they would turn grass yellow from lack of sunlight.  
They come in several sizes, with the largest being about 9'x12' for $40.  
Available from vendors at dog shows, or from mail-order pet suppliers who 
cater to the dog show trade.  These are heavy, though, and you could probably 
find something in a lighter weight material for less $.
