Hi Chuck, When I first wired our tow to the A/S, I had it wrong. This same noise was caused by the turn signal flasher... until I rewired and got it right. I had a ground (-) in the wrong place. At any rate, my opinion is that it could be caused by mis-wiring. Hope this helps. Bob :) Reno
