[A/S] Rotten Floor Removal/ Tool Suggestions???

Greetings All !!!

Thanks to this list I have finally managed to waterproof my 
Airstream.  I thank all who contribted for your sage advice.

Next problem, replacing the rotten areas of the floor...I can see 
into the belly pan through a 3x4" hole. Once I get everything totally 
dry, any suggestions on the correct saw to cut with?

A jigsaw, or perhaps a circular saw set very shallow? I shudder at 
the thought of hitting the metal support joists.

Any helpful hints would be much appreciated.
