[A/S] New Safari Quality

In order to keep the weight and the price down, if I purchase a new 
Airstream it will be a Safari. As much as I like the solid wood of 
the Excels and Limiteds, I'll have to get use to have the vinyl 
laminate. I'm wondering from those with newer Safaris, how well the 
interiors hold up. I'm a little concerned about the longevity of 
cabinets, doors and drawers. It also seems like it would be about 
impossible to fix any of these if it got damaged. Thanks for any 
input.
