Jim,
I got 14 years out of my fridge in my old Hi-Lo before
it croaked with a leak.  Traveling with it on should
not be an issue unless you park for a long time with
the trailer out of level.  I have read that the newer
fridges are much more tolerant of out of level
conditions.  Supposedly if the trailer level is
comfortable for you, its probably ok for the fridge.
