I pull a '64 19' GlobeTrotter with my 1993 Defender 110.  It has 10" 
more wheel base than your Disco, but less HP.  Once I figured out how to 
use the load distribution system, it pulls fine--even on the highway. 
 In California, no vehicle with a trailer can go past 55mph, so I've 
stayed at that speed and all is well.  Discos have a tow rating of 
5000lbs, so you should stay well below that weight.  I think the new 
Bambis have a dry weight of 3800lbs.
