I am impressed!  I don't see seams in the inside skin. How was that
treated? 

Jerry S. recommended Flexsteel foldout for the couch. I second that
motion. You build end supports and a front support at a heighth that
would be right for the couch and would have space under for the
water tank. That is the way my Isuzu Motorhome stores the  fresh
water tank.

I think the wires coming in to the right of the water tank are
originally from the battery case on the A frame outside and would
have come in to the the Univolt (or what ever it was called back
then) and DC distribution center in the front of the trailer. What
ever you decide to do with the battery, make sure it is air tight
from the inside of the trailer and vented to the outside.

My choice for the skinny space next to the fridg would be to remove
that back lip on the inside of the skinny door and you would have
just about enough space for two Zip Dee chairs.
